Alice in Wonderland

November 11, 2011

Today is Veterans' Day and on Tuesday we will be going over to Annika's school for an assembly where I and a few other veterans will be speaking about our experiences in the service. Last night we went to the Avon Grove High School where Bridget was a flower in the high school presentation of "Alice in Wonderland". She did a very nice job in spite of being a little under the weather. They had two groups of grade schoolers, cards and flowers, in the play, very cute. We finally finished the kitchen (until the next project)and Alesa painted the cabinet doors so we are done, done and done. Of course she went right upstairs and repainted one of the bedrooms, the one she has turned into a closet. I had to remove the two remaining sets of 8 foot metal bifold closet doors and install an additional shelf in both closets. Done again. Next will be to shorten the opening for a standard sized dor, but that can wait. On Wednesday I saw the Penn cardiologist at the Philadelphia VA and he scheduled me for another cardioversion on the 22nd and an ablation at the University of Pennsylvania medical center sometime in December.
