Camp NanaPapa - Closing Ceremony

July 10, 2011

Sunday is the last day of this year's Camp NanaPapa. We went shopping this morning for the food for the closing ceremony this evening. You may have noticed that we did a lot of shopping during camp because the refrigerator in the camper is relatively small and we can't stock up. This afternoon Jeff and family came down and took Ellie and Anni with them to Beach 11 at the peninsula which gave us our first relaxing afternoon in a long time. I even got to read the Sunday paper. We had spaghetti for dinner and took the Girls to Whippy Dip for Blue Moon cones. Mike and Lisa arrived and checked into the Bayfront Sheraton then came over to camp. Jeff and family and Bob and Cathy and Becca came over as well. It was hot and humid so much time was spent in the trailer AC. We had dinner with one course being hot dogs over the camp fire. Most then moved outside for the campfire, s'mores, ladderball, hiking and campfire pies. Then back inside to escape the bugs. Ellie and Anni are staying one more night.
