Canyon Lake

Alesa ordered a custom made ring a few days ago from a Navajo artist (Rocky) at the Goldfield Ghost Town. It was supposed to be ready on Sunday but it wasn't so he promised it for Tuesday. Alesa sent a text this morning and he called so say it was ready. Jeff and Danielle worked this morning so we all drove out this afternoon to pick it up. He had made three different rings to be sure he got the size right since they had measured her finger with a piece of paper. He gave almost a 40% discount for the inconvenience. Jeff and Danielle surprised Alesa by buying it for her birthday. We then drove over 9 miles of winding road through beautiful desert canyonlands to Canyon Lake. We stopped at a stable on the way back to check on horseback riding and watched a couple of coyotes roam the area.
