Christmas Season

December 24, 2025

On the 11th thru the 14th Jeff took the family and significant others to Salt Lake City for a little Christmas vacation. We were tasked with the drop off and pick up at the airport as well as dog sitting while they were gone. They had a wonderful time and we did as well. We spent the nights with the dogs and after the first night of finding the best way to sleep with 4 dogs all went well. Although the dogs did sleep a little closer to Alesa than they did with me. On the 16th Jeff and Danielle brought their golf cart over to participate in the Trilogy golf cart parade. After judging and refreshments we rode with them around the neighborhood waving to the parade watchers and throwing candy to the kids (of all ages). On the 20th we went over to jeff and Danielle's to participate in their neighborhood (Bridges) golf cart parade. After judging and a 12 car Tesla serenade we drove around their entire neighborhood in the parade looking at Christmas lights and throwing candy. Ah, a Tesla serenade, is where Teslas face each other and play Christmas music over their sound systems and coordinate all their lights to the music. Christmas Eve was spent at our house with Jeff, Danielle, Bailey and Bridget. And we facetimed with Mike, Elyse, Annika, Elyse's boyfriend Sam and Mike's friend Amy. It was a wonderful evening and it was great to get everybody together if only virtually. At the end of our evening, Bridget was joining Michael and his family (for the first time) and Bailey was flying to New Jersey on the 26th to join Nicki who flew to her family a few days earlier. We are leaving tomorrow to join Steve and Laura at their daughter's (Kate) in Golden, Co.
