Another busy day at Camp NanaPapa. We made some root beer by using dry ice and conducted a few experiments beforehand since we had the dry ice. We put it in soapy water and made a lot of 'smoking' bubbles, put it in alcohol and used that to freeze flowers, put a spoon on top of it and listened to it vibrate and compared a melting ice cube to melting/boiling dry ice. The root beer was great although it did boil over a bit when we added the dry ice. Bailey and I played tennis this morning then we had a sailing lesson in the back yard since the skies were threatening. There was thunder so we had to wait to go to the pool so Bailey and Annika prepared tonight's dinner, chicken and dumplings, a corn casserole and, of course, root beer. Annika and Bridget performed a play to kill some time then we went to the pool for a couple of hours before dinner. Nana made s'mores for dessert and I made popcorn balls.
