We have been without WiFi for the last few days as we settled in the Forsyth KOA just north of Macon, Ga. We had a long day with a 250 mile drive from Alachua to Forsyth on Saturday so we decided to take it easy for a day. We did drive around Forsyth that night to get a feel for the area and shop at WalMart. You don’t really know a town until you shop at their Walmart. Sunday, after a slow start, we drove into Macon just to look around and then back via back roads and Juliette where ‘Fried Green Tomatoes’ was filmed. We had a fried green tomato sandwich and some country root fries (and we also had our bacon in Macon). Today we drove through Atlanta and are in Chattanooga at the Best Holiday Trav-L-Park for two nights.
