Monday morning we went metal detecting on the beach at Lowdermilk park and came out with 44¢. (Took a while to figure out how to type the cents sign, beware the Ides of March) Good thing we rode the bikes because there was a traffic jam in the parking lot. We have kept busy this week by riding, walking the beach, working around the house and visiting with the neighbors. Tuesday we all went to see 'The Lorax' then to Rita's for some water ice. Good show and good gelatis. Yesterday we drove to Ft.Myers to shop at the outlets, go to Harbor Freight, tour downtown, stop at the Red Sox spring training stadium and visit the Edison and Ford winter homes. Tonight we are going out to dinner at a local steakhouse.
We have include a picture of the cross street neighbor raking the blooms of her shaving brush tree, (Pseudobombax ellipticum, sorry for the science lesson but we keep forgetting the name of that tree)
Also, the results of my echo and Holter monitor are back and everything looks good so I am off Coumadin and back to normal.
