Wow, September already. Bailey and Bridget are back to school and Elyse and Annika start on Wednesday. We had Bailey and Bridget a few more days after the last post and they kept busy with projects, making whistles, go carts, ant farms, etc. We have a book, “101 things to do before you grow up”, which keeps them busy. Actually, I haven’t been through it yet so I’d better hurry. We then put up crown molding in the game room, rented a floor sander and did the game room and foyer floors: hard work and dust everywhere. We had one easy day where Alesa worked in the yard and I went to a small 90th birthday party for one of the vets from my “every 3rd Tuesday” veteran’s breakfast at the diner. We are now headed over to Mike’s with some flagstones and to catch up as they have been to the NJ shore for a week while Mike went to Florida and then they all spent the last week in Toronto before stopping in Erie on the way home.
