The heat has been pretty much slowing us down. We continue to be active, just not as fast. We built a 'sifter' from hardware cloth and went to beach 1 for some metal detecting. We did find a nice Irish ring and a lot of trash. We spent more time standing in the surf to beat the heat than digging in the sand. One day Alesa walked to Frontier park and back. We stopped to see my sister Marilyn and moved some cables. This week we will buy and install a ceiling fan and a TV for her bedroom. Today we drove out to 12 mile creek and Alesa sat on the shore while I fly fished the creek. A few small ones but the water is just too slow and warm.
