Since we are not going to be with our family for the holidays for the first time ever we decided to put up Christmas decorations here in Florida . The Christmas tree is up, the crepe myrtle is lit as well as the cactus. We also have little Santa hats around the house and on the cactus. Jeff says Santa hats on the cactus is a thing in Arizona so he followed suit and we did as well. We'll make the best of the holiday situation and communicate with the family a lot. We are keeping busy with Golf and Water Volleyball even as the weather gets cooler. Watching the launches from the cape, tonight's was especially clear. Seems like a lot of snowbirds are back and families down for the holidays. We are being especially careful to keep our social distances from all the new bug carriers. We are going to have neighbors over for Thanksgiving but we know them well and we know the two couples and how careful they have been. Nonetheless, we will be careful.
