On Monday we joined Paul and Carol at the Lake Waldena Resort in the Ocala National Forest just east of Silver Springs. On Tuesday we rode with them to the house for some last minute clean up and then drove their second car up here while they went to the closing. We stopped in DeLand on the way back but couldn't reach Mary Carol so we ate lunch there and came back to go shopping in the afternoon then helped Paul and Carol celebrate when they returned homeless. Wednesday we rode with them to the Villages to see their home site and accompany them and their realtor as they toured different home types for their final decision. After discussing swapping home sites for larger options they ended the day by deciding to retain their original site and build a Holly style home on Owl Street off Mockingbird Lane at the Villages. Today they drove back to the Villages to meet with their realtor and finalize the purchase and build plan. It takes 70 days to build the house after their April 7th start date. Today we drove to Citris Hills to visit friends from back home who moved there in the last year. Then we stopped back at Paul and Carol's home site to get some pictures of how it used to look. We are leaving here tomorrow and heading slowly north.
