At home

January 4, 2019

Drove home on the 27th and 28th through Charlotte and spent the night with our 'recently moved' neighbor in Huntersville. It was good to see Lois again. She moved out of the Villages this summer and is planning to move again to Leesburg, a suburb of DC. The traffic was not too bad through Baltimore and around DC. I-66 wasn't bad but I-81 was full of trucks and I-77 had construction and we spent a lot of time on back roads as Google routed us around it. Traffic was very heavy the 28th and we took all back roads from I-95 to home. That ride was 2 hours longer than normal. Alesa had a pre-admissions appointment in Orlando for her upcoming knee replacement and all is ready. We continue to golf, play platform tennis and water volleyball although Alesa has backed off volleyball lately for fear of catching a cold. Mounted my wind sensor on the top of our flagpole and now we are on top of the weather.
