Took the Santa Fe to the shop yesterday to have a recall performed. Nothing I considered critical but good to get it done. The starter wiring could start a fire in an accident so they moved some wiring around, installed a software update and did the courtesy inspections. Took less than two hours and I walked to McDonalds for breakfast while they did it. Had to set some things up again after the software update but all is good.
Today, Alesa and I went to a water presentation given by the Gilbert water department. It was very interesting as it went over the history of water in the desert southwest to include the Colorado River, the Salt River and groundwater. It covered all the laws and agreements concerning the availability of water for the past and the future. Gilbert has proven it has 100-year water sustainability and presented what steps it is taking to maintain that rating.
