Watched a few episodes of 'Bar Rescue' while in Arizona. One episode was about a bar just east of Tampa, so we decided we would try it someday. Today was the day. We went to Craig and Janet's to talk about their recent trip to Spain to cycle the Camino de Santiago Compostela and to take them to lunch. They had a good trip but it was a lot tougher than expected because of the drastic elevation changes in the mountains, the rocky hiking trails and the heavy mountain bikes. It was a great experience and they're happy to have completed it. We drove down to Gibsonton, Fl, about 30 miles south of Craig and ate lunch at the Dockside on the Alafia River. It was very nice and the food was excellent. Then owner, a retired Tampa policeman, was very nice and spent a lot of time at our table just visiting. He told all about the 'Bar Rescue' experience. We all had a great time and we will be going back.
