Maine birthday

Took the Southern Tier Expressway to Binghamton, I-88 to Albany and route 9 to Brattleboro, VT. A 421-mile trip with good weather and traffic. We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites and walked to the '99' restaurant for dinner. Today we drove across New Hampshire to I-95 and stopped at the liquor store on the circle in Portsmouth. Back on I-95 with a mandatory shopping stop at LL Bean, through Bangor to route 6, route 1 and Grand Lake Stream Road to Steve & Laura's. W had stopped in Newport and bought a birthday cake and some corn on the cop and Laura had prepared a nice dinner and we celebrated my birthday.
