Puzzle, Cars and Hot Dogs
Steve and Laura had sent us a jigsaw puzzle made with pictures they had taken during their visit last year. We finally got around to putting it together this weekend. Alesa took Bridget and Dani out to breakfast on Thursday and on Saturday we went to the Trilogy car show with Jeff and Dani. They picked us up in their golfcart as car parking can be a problem during such activities. Trilogy residents show off their old cars and some new ones as well. There was also a hot dog fundraiser to benefit the Trilogy tennis club and the Band of Angels, so we all had a hot dog, chips and a soda. The quilting club also had an expo in the clubhouse ballroom, so we walked around that as well. There were people dressed as hot dogs, pickles, mustard and ketchup walking around to drum up business for the fundraiser. It was a good time but we didn't stay very long as Jeff was golfing that afternoon. We rode the bikes up later between the 3rd and 4th holes to greet him and his group as they played by. It has been in the 90s for the last couple of days but should be back in the 80s for the rest of this week. Spring is here and the pool is warming up. Last week we were covering our little garden for the frost and today we are deciding if we should move it out of the blazing sun.
