Picked Elyse up at her apartment at 9 and took her out for breakfast at iHop before dropping her off and heading to Erie. The trip was very enjoyable and the weather was perfect. We took the route we have always taken to Erie and the springtime countryside was beautiful and nostalgic. Arrived in Erie at 2 and visited with Bob and Cathy before going to dinner at the Browns. Mary Carol's memorial service and internment are on Friday and Annie and Marco were in town for the week for that and to announce their engagement. As always, the Brown's hospitality was perfect and much appreciated. It was much fun sitting outside on a beautiful Erie night visiting and sharing stories with close friends.
