As you have noticed there are no pictures on the posts. It seems the connection between Flickr and the blog is broken and don't when or if ever it will be fixed. In the meantime, I will continue to post but without pictures but the pictures will be on Flickr and I will apply them to the appropriate bl0og entry if the connection becomes available. Our new double umbrella is doing its job and seems steady. We put 60 pounds of sand in the supplied base and it seems steady enough. We are still lowering it every night, especially during the monsoon season which is upon us. Since the length is from north to south and the sun moves from east to west, we are limited to the times it provides adequate shade.
