On the 11th thru the 14th Jeff took the family and significant others to Salt Lake City for a little Christmas vacation. We were tasked with the drop off and pick up at the airport as well as dog sitting while they were gone. They had a wonderful time and we did as well.

Kept ourselves busy during November with biking, hiking and gym visits. Jeff and Danielle requested to host Thanksgiving because Bailey was coming with Nicki and Bridget was bringing Michael.

Took the Santa Fe to the shop yesterday to have a recall performed. Nothing I considered critical but good to get it done. The starter wiring could start a fire in an accident so they moved some wiring around, installed a software update and did the courtesy inspections.

Friday was a pickleball and pool day. We also caught up with Jeff, Danielle and Lou. We met with them a few times during Lou's visit but he was flying out on Saturday so we said our good-byes.

Craig and Janet flew in from Tampa Monday evening for a week stay. They were supposed to land at 7PM but were delayed until after 10 so they were very tired. We were following their flight so we knew to go to the airport later.

Danielle's brother Lou flew in from Philadelphia today to spend a few weeks with Jeff and Danielle.

Alesa and I attended the No Kings Rally in downtown Chandler today to show our support for the movement and our total displeasure with the current fascist regime of the 5th grade level bully and the haters, greedies and gullables who support it.

Stil no working connection to Flickr where I store the pictures but I will continue to post to the blog as it is our diary and we have used it many times in the past. I may or may not post pictures to the entries if the connection becomes available in the future.

Been busy during September with the normal activities and we are making a concerted effort to connect with the community. We have attended some board meetings on-line, went to the travel club meeting, had neighbors over and went to their homes as well. We will continue to get involved.

Went to a presentation in the Trilogy ballroom by the Gilbert 'water' team last Thursday. They presented what Gilbert was doing now and what the plans are to control and reduce water usage in the Gilbert community. It was very informative and we will participate in the programs they offer.
