Walked a bit of the Peralta Trail in Gold Canyon. We didn't walk far but it was a beautiful drive into the Superstition Mountains and this trail walked into a canyon while many other trails walked up into the mountains.

Getting active with the Democrats club and had a group meeting with a daughter of a Trilogy resident who was visiting from Minneapolis and talked about what was going on with ICE (Trumps' gestapo).

Left Golden on Monday morning and I-70 was clear across Colorado. Just north of Moab we drove into Arches National Park. It was a beautiful day and the views were spectacular. We drove throughout the park with short walks on the Park Avenue Trail as well as the Devils Garden Trail.

Yesterday we went to Evergreen with Steve and Laura and walked around Evergreen Lake before driving along Upper Bear Creek Road and then over to Lookout Mountain before driving down the mountain trail to Golden. We did not stop at Buffalo Bill's grave since we had all been there before.

We left on Christmas morning heading to Golden Colorado and spent the night in Durango. The weather was good and we enjoyed the trip through the mountains and high desert. We enjoyed being in Durango again but it had changed a lot in the last 20 years.

On the 11th thru the 14th Jeff took the family and significant others to Salt Lake City for a little Christmas vacation. We were tasked with the drop off and pick up at the airport as well as dog sitting while they were gone. They had a wonderful time and we did as well.

Kept ourselves busy during November with biking, hiking and gym visits. Jeff and Danielle requested to host Thanksgiving because Bailey was coming with Nicki and Bridget was bringing Michael.

Took the Santa Fe to the shop yesterday to have a recall performed. Nothing I considered critical but good to get it done. The starter wiring could start a fire in an accident so they moved some wiring around, installed a software update and did the courtesy inspections.

Friday was a pickleball and pool day. We also caught up with Jeff, Danielle and Lou. We met with them a few times during Lou's visit but he was flying out on Saturday so we said our good-byes.
