They have installed all of the plumbing and most of the electrical, both inside and out. Not many problems so far; they made the glass blocks wall too high in the shower, a crack in the hot water heater pan and a broken piece of molding on the front door.

Today they were installing our medium hickory cabinets, countertops, guest shower tile, master shower glass blocks (they put in one row too many), master shower floor tile, A/C, shutters, garage door and opener. Last night we went to Schwed's for our weekly dominoes and dinner.

The concrete has been poured; driveway, sidewalk, front porch, lanai and back stoop. They also installed the glass in the front door and sidelite.

We got pictures of the painted house and the tiled floors so we felt we had better order the remaining appliances. So, that's just what we did and they will be delivered the day after we close on 9/4. We got a 31 cu. ft.

The whole inside of the house is painted and the floors are ready for tile and carpet. The forms are down for the driveway, the lanai/patio, the front porch and sidewalk. Picked up the truck today after spending a grand to fix the turbo and have it checked to be ready for the trip south.

Today is Jeff's 40th birthday so we stopped down to help celebrate. Our baby is 40. Carol also sent us pictures of stucco on the house. The township inspected and approved the hot tub rewiring so there is nothing left to be done on this house before the closing except for packing.

Received more pictures from our realtor today and pulled out the plans to check measurements and make sure things will fit as we are planning. Also busy taking things apart for easier packing.

Friday the electrician rewired the hot tub (moved the box 6' away and ran the wire in a conduit). Permits and inspections cost as much as the material and labor.

Insulation was installed on Tuesday and they finished drywall late last night and Carol took pictures early this morning.

We received some more pictures from our realtor today. We continue to pack and I replaced a rear brake caliper in the truck and tonight was one of the last domino dinners with the Schweds.
